This beautiful Colonial male porcelain figurine is 7 1/2 " tall and about 2 1/2" wide. He is clad with a hand painted green coat and yellow pinstriped breeches. Bottom of piece is stamped in red with "Made in Occupied Japan". Very good overall condition. No chips or cracks.

"Japan" or Occupied Japan" pieces were made at the end of the Second World War from 1945 until 1952 when Japan was occupied by American troops.

This is a lovely piece for any decor and is great for Occupied Japan collectors. This handsome gentleman pairs well with the lovely colonial lady shown in the background pic which is  sold separately from my store, www.turnitaround.online.
