This beautiful Colonial lady porcelain figurine is 5 " tall and about 2" wide. She is hand painted in a lovely blue colonial gown and matching blue bonnet. She is holding a small flower bouquet. Bottom of piece is stamped in red with "Made in Occupied Japan". Very good overall condition. No chips or cracks.
"Japan" or Occupied Japan" pieces were made at the end of the Second World War from 1945 until 1952 when Japan was occupied by American troops.
This is a lovely piece for any decor and is great for Occupied Japan collectors. This lovely lady pairs well with the handsome gentleman shown in the background pic which is sold separately from my store. (www.turnitaround.online) Will bundle multiple purchases.
