Details: This is a lightweight lap quilt or wall hanging. One block has a Rail Fence pattern with fabric pieces of yellows, golds, and blues with shimmer background on the blue. Both the blue and yellow hosts stars. The second block is a combo pattern of Day into Night and Chunky Shoofly. It has the same starry yellow fabric and gold with black veins, but it also sports large cloudy blue triangles and a purple center square. The blocks are joined by a blue/black dotted fabric and then bordered with a solid navy. Bordering the center rectangle is a 3 inch strip of blue and beige florals trimmed with a slate blue and then lined with the same blue as the back. The pieces are machine sewn and the quilting is all hand stitched. This small quilt would be a perfect added touch to the galaxy/solar system loving person in home.
This quilt has been carefully washed and air dried. Please view all pictures before buying.
History: There is no known history for this quilt except that it was found in a Mobile, AL estate.
