Details: This is what I would call a lightweight mini quilt which is the perfect size for a beautiful wall hanging. The dogwood blossom's burgundy center matches the burgundy backing. The blossom lays on a gray fabric with tiny burgundy flowers. This same fabric is used to put a 4 inch border around the center block. The outer edge is lined with a burgundy fabric with tiny white flowers. The pastel touch of green from the leaves adds a pop of color to the front. The delicate hand stitching is very precise and even. The mini quilt is in good condition. There is a slight color variation in the shades of gray on the front border. This is photographed for reference. This quilt has been carefully washed and air dried. Please view all pictures before buying.
**Note...the back coloring in several of the photos look fuschia, but the back color is a true burgundy.
History: There is no known history for this quilt except that it was found in a Mobile, AL estate.
