This 9 inch plate dish is a beautiful example of a Famille Rose 'Bajixiang' style piece from China, featuring intricate designs in shades of pink and green. The Guangxu six-character mark indicates it was made during the reign of the Guangxu Emperor of the Qing Dynasty. Famille Rose ceramics are known for their vibrant colors and detailed motifs, making this plate dish a stunning example of Chinese artistry and craftsmanship. This dish was found in the estate of an army veteran widow who lived in China for many years. She acquired the plate while living there which dates the purchase back to the mid to late 1900's. It boasts the original manufacturer sticker that reads "Made in China, Decorated in Hong Kong".
